Online Access

This method allows people to search for and review court case records online through official portals. One such portal is the Civil & Criminal Online Records Search by the Camden County Clerk of the Superior Court. The portal provides searchable access to records of civil and criminal cases filed or heard in the Superior Court. It offers three (3) search options: by party, by case number, or by associated party. Users may either create an account or use the portal as guests.

Another such portal is the E-Access to Court Records, a directory provided by the Georgia judiciary. This directory allows interested persons to search court records by redirecting them to the provider's website when a court is selected. However, the directory only lists county superior and state courts for records searches.

In-Person Access

This method allows interested persons to search for and/or obtain records in person by visiting the clerk of the court in which the case was filed or heard. Mail and Phone Requests

This method allows interested persons to obtain court case records by submitting requests to the custodian by mail or phone. For example, to request court records from the Clerk of Superior Court, mail a completed 'request form' to P.O. Box 550, Woodbine, GA 31569, or call (912) 576-5631.

Note that the time it will take to process requests submitted by mail varies by custodian. However, for superior court records, responses are provided within three (3) business days. Responses typically include the cost of searching, retrieving, copying, redacting, and/or supervising the inspection of the requested document(s). These costs, where applicable, may be paid by money order or check.

Criminal Records Access in Camden County

Access to official state-level criminal history records, which include a person's identification data, arrest data, and final disposition data, is available through the Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC), a division of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), the custodian of these records, or through the Camden County Sheriff's Office. Federal Court Records in Camden County

A federal court record is an official record of filings, activities, and decisions in cases handled in a federal courthouse. These records include court orders, judgments, transcripts, filed exhibits, etc. Examples of cases that fall under federal jurisdiction and are heard in federal courts include bankruptcy, mail or wire fraud, bank robbery, and civil rights violations.
